Overview

Iron Gate Digital Limited is a newly registered Lusaka company offering software development, IT support, digital marketing, branding and technology supply. It needed an identity and a company profile it could put in front of corporate clients from day one.

The challenge

A young company has to look established before it has a track record. The brand needed to signal security and reliability, the "iron gate", while feeling clearly digital, and it had to work as a small app icon as well as on the cover of a printed profile.

The solution

We built the mark from the company initials, IDL, set inside a shield that doubles as a gate. Circuit-node terminals on the i and the base line connect the letters like traces on a board. A single bright cyan, paired with deep navy in supporting materials, keeps the brand confident and technical. The same system carries through a seven-page company profile covering who they are, their services, values and contact details.

Process

Discovery
Clarified the services, audience and the qualities the name should carry.
Concept
Explored directions, including an early warm-toned route, before settling on the shield-and-circuit idea.
Refine
Drew the IDL monogram and lockup, and settled the cyan and navy palette.
Apply
Designed the company profile in print and screen editions using the new identity.
